2024 Annual Report
Intro Letter
Dear Friends and Supporters,
This past year has been a remarkable chapter in Regional Care Group’s story of growth, impact, and resilience—all strengthening our mission to deliver comprehensive, integrated healthcare and social services. As we reflect on these accomplishments, what stands out most is the unwavering dedication of our teams across Regional Health Systems, Geminus, and Lake Park Residential Care. Their tireless efforts have transformed challenges into opportunities, allowing us to expand our reach and bring meaningful change to more lives than ever before.
Geminus extended its vital services into Porter and La Porte counties, embodying our commitment to empowering children and families. The ribbon-cutting of the Strengthening Indiana Families Family Resource Center in La Porte marked the start of a collaborative mission to provide essential social services and fortify the fabric of our communities. In Porter County, the groundbreaking of the Geminus Head Start Early Learning Center demonstrated our dedication to early childhood education, creating a space that will nurture young minds, support working families, and lay the foundation for a brighter future.
Regional Health Systems made tremendous strides in healthcare access and innovation. The launch of the Mobile Health Clinic was a giant leap toward health equity, bringing vital services to underserved populations wherever they are. Construction began on the Crisis C.A.R.E. Unit, a facility designed to provide immediate care for those facing behavioral health crises. This initiative represents our unwavering resolve to offer compassionate, timely intervention for individuals in need, reaffirming our belief that no one should have to face a crisis alone.
Throughout Lake County, we engaged with our communities through events that fostered connection, support, and celebration. The National Health Center Week Block Party at our Hammond Primary Care location provided families with health screenings, music, free lunches, haircuts, and massages, creating a welcoming space for care and community. The New Beginnings Clubhouse hosted its Night of Stars Prom, bringing joy to members with music, laughter, and a celebration of their achievements. We also highlighted the importance of healthcare access with a Juneteenth health event and strengthened support for Lake Park Residential Care through our second annual Black and White Ball, raising funds and awareness to enhance services for residents. These events reflect our ongoing commitment to meaningful community engagement and ensuring those we serve feel supported every step of the way
In addition to these milestone events, Regional Care Group organized networking opportunities that united healthcare professionals, social service providers, and community leaders. These collaborations are the cornerstone of our mission, sparking new ideas and partnerships that amplify our impact.
As we look to the future, we are both inspired by how far we’ve come and energized by the work still ahead. Every new endeavor strengthens our resolve to serve as a trusted partner in health and well-being. Together, we will continue breaking barriers, building bridges, and ensuring that every individual—no matter their background or circumstances—receives the care, support, and opportunities they deserve.
Thank you for standing with us on this journey. Your belief in our mission fuels our drive to make a difference every day.
